| The Fixed Asset Inventory Workshop includes instruction on setting up the fund to track fixed assets; entering assets into the Asset File; processing depreciation; disposing assets; calculating replacement costs; utilizing the scanner options; and tying Accounts Payable to Fixed Asset Inventory in order to record assets automatically during invoice entry. The requirements for complying with GASB 34 in terms of fixed assets and how this information gets reported on the Annual/GASB 34 reports will also be covered. Computers will be provided during the workshop to complete lab exercises. |
