During this Continuing Education hands-on class, participants will further enhance their knowledge of the School Accounting System and will complete and review each step on the End of Fiscal Year Checklists in detail for Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger, and Fixed Asset Inventory. Participants will complete the expensing of Accounts Payable and Payroll for the fiscal year end. The process for generating, editing, and printing the annual report and GASB 34 reports will also be included. For Iowa school districts only, the workshops scheduled in Iowa will also include instruction on the unique feature for reverse GAAP expensing. Computers will be provided during the workshop to complete lab exercises.
