Software Training Representative

We are currently seeking a full-time Software Training Representative to work within our Training Department at Software Unlimited, Inc.
Software Unlimited, Inc. has been a Sioux Falls based, regional leader in developing fund accounting software solutions for K-12 school districts in the Midwest since 1979. Our mission is to create, maintain, update, train, and support comprehensive and affordable fund accounting solutions tailored and customized to meet specific state and federal financial reporting requirements for school districts.
As a Software Training Representative, the primary responsibility is to instruct trainings on our various programs/software products for our clients. The types of trainings the Software Training Representative will instruct include: formal workshops, one-on-one remote trainings, webinars, and on-site trainings. Instructing the various types of trainings will encompass approximately 75% of the time. The formal training workshops are held within our Midwest territory, and thus the Software Training Representative position requires 25% travel (approximately one week per month, departing from and returning to Sioux Falls).
Other responsibilities for the Software Training Representative are to:
- Complete research and use problem solving skills in order to provide our clients with the best possible solutions.
- Respond to training inquiries.
- Promote training opportunities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of training content/materials.
- Provide timely and professional telephone support to our clients on our various programs/software products.
- Participate in the testing of new products and releases.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties and complete various projects as assigned.
The Software Training Representative position is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, with the exception of the 25% travel requirement which typically involves departing on Monday morning from Sioux Falls and returning on Thursday evening.

*Previous training experience or background in education/teaching preferred
