Version 21.10.14.01 – Web Link

Web Link updates are available for download from the File Transfer Center: https://transfer.su-inc.com

Important Notes
Web Link updates must be installed on your web server, excluding School Accounting System-Online customers. If needed, contact your technology coordinator to install the update on the web server.

Since the Web Link product interacts with the School Accounting System and this update contains changes that affect both products simultaneously, you will also need to be at SAS version 21.10.14.01 (or higher, if applicable).

  • Employee Information>Leaves
    • In Leave Request Entry and Leave Request Inquiry, if a user had rights to enter leaves for other individuals, in some instances they could still only enter and view their own leaves. This has been corrected.
  • Reports
    • Transaction Detail Report: If a user only has access to certain Account Groups, this report has been updated so the user can only generate the report for those groups.
    • When using the Download to Excel feature, reports will be created as .XLS rather than .XLSX. Also, if a report contained a forward or back slash in the name, the system was returning an error. This has been corrected.
    • If a user is tied to a specific employee and they have access to generate a report with Entity ID as a report parameter, they were restricted to only seeing information for their ID. With this release, these users will now have access to generate these reports for all employees. The affects both standard and custom reports. The standard reports include: Adjust Posted Entries Listing, Check Register by Checking Account, Check Register by Type, Cleared Checks Listing for Check Reconciliation, Entities Listing, Entities Listing for Check Date Range, Entry File Report, Manual Journal Entries Listing – Detail, Manual Journal Entries Listing – Summary, Outstanding Checks Listing, Transaction Detail Report, and any mailing label.
