Note: For those districts that have the Web Link module, you will also need to be at Web Link version 23.12.26.01 (or higher, if applicable) since this update contains changes that affect both products simultaneously. Web Link updates must be downloaded through the File Transfer Center and installed on the web server.
- Important Tax Information
- Tax Tables with changes for 2024: Colorado State Income Tax, Federal Income Tax, Social Security (limit change only), Iowa State Income Tax, Ohio State Income Tax, Minnesota State Income Tax, Missouri State Income Tax, Montana State Income Tax, and Nebraska State Income Tax
- Tax Tables with NO changes for 2024: Alabama State Income Tax, Federal Unemployment, Illinois State Income Tax, Kansas City Local Income Tax, Kansas State Income Tax, New York State Income Tax, Idaho State Income Tax, Medicare, St. Louis Local Income Tax, Virginia State Income Tax, and Wisconsin State Income Tax
- Tax Tables with tax tables not released for 2024: North Dakota State Income Tax
- States with unemployment Taxable Wage Base changes for 2024: Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, and Wyoming
- States with NO unemployment Taxable Wage Base changes for 2024: Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota
- Once you install the 23.12.26.01 update, you will have the released 2024 information for the federal, state and local income taxes and unemployment taxable wage base limits for applicable states. To view and verify this information, please print the appropriate documents using the links below. The tables in these documents MUST be compared to your tax information in the Taxes option under the Maintenance menu in Payroll prior to calculating your first payroll in January 2024.
- If you are currently using the Negotiations module with the School Accounting System, the 2024 tax and unemployment information will update automatically upon installing the update.

- System Wide>K12Docs
- When adding a Document, if you were trying to tie the document to an inactive vendor in K12Docs, you would receive an error. This has been corrected.
- Negotiations>Maintenance
- Some users were receiving an application error clicking on the lane heading if the Salary Schedule only had one step and one lane. This has been corrected.
- Payroll>Maintenance
- The 2024 W4 has been added to the system for use on the Employee Personal Changes – Federal W4 screen found on the Taxes tab in the Employee File.
- In the Employee File, some users were unable to combine Employees with expensed taxes and deductions. This has been corrected.
- Personal Email Address has been added to the list of fields you are able to import through the Process Onboarding Employee option.
- The Employee File Taxes tab has been updated to allow for Total Allowance to accommodate the new Iowa W4.
- Payroll>Government Reporting
- Kansas: In the Kansas Retirement Report, a new sort has been added for Custom Reference field.
- Illinois: Some users were timing out going into the Schedule P. This has been corrected.
