Note: For those districts that have the Web Link module, you will also need to be at Web Link version 24.12.19.01 (or higher, if applicable) since this update contains changes that affect both products simultaneously. Web Link updates must be downloaded through the File Transfer Center and installed on the web server.
Important Tax Information
Tax Tables with changes for 2025: Colorado State Income Tax, Federal Income Tax, Social Security (limit change only), Iowa State Income Tax, Michigan State Income Tax, Minnesota State Income Tax, Missouri State Income Tax, Montana State Income Tax, Nebraska State Income Tax, and Virginia State Income Tax.
Tax Tables with NO changes for 2025: Alabama State Income Tax, Federal Unemployment, Kansas City Local Income Tax, Kansas State Income Tax, Ohio State Income Tax, New York State Income Tax, Idaho State Income Tax, Medicare, St. Louis Local Income Tax, and Wisconsin State Income Tax
Tax Tables with tax tables not released for 2025: Illinois State Income Tax and North Dakota State Income Tax
States with unemployment Taxable Wage Base changes for 2025: Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, and Wyoming
States with NO unemployment Taxable Wage Base changes for 2025: Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota
Once you install the 24.12.19.01 update, you will have the released 2025 information for the federal, state and local income taxes and unemployment taxable wage base limits for applicable states. To view and verify this information, please print the appropriate documents using the links below. The tables in these documents MUST be compared to your tax information in the Taxes option under the Maintenance menu in Payroll prior to calculating your first payroll in January 2025.
If you are currently using the Negotiations module with the School Accounting System, the 2025 tax and unemployment information will update automatically upon installing the update.

- Accounts Payable>Check Cycle
- In Checks, some Users were unable to create batches due to negative checks. This has been corrected.
- Accounts Payable>Government Reporting
- If preprinted forms option was selected in 2023, the copies to print in the 2024 1099s would not print the correct copies. This has been corrected.
- General Ledger>Reports
- Kansas: The Subject to Sales Tax field has been updated on the Cash Receipt Listing – Sales Tax Report to show the actual amount subject to sales tax.
- Negotiations>Maintenance
- The Reserved Word of PREVIOUSYEAR was added to both the Agreement Form Setup – Contract Employee and the Agreement Form Setup – Unit Employee.
- Payroll>Government Reporting
- Illinois: Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund Report – New Format was excluding employees that should have been included. This has been corrected.
- Kansas: In the Kansas Unemployment Report, the State Employer Account Number has been updated to allow 10 digits.
- North Dakota: North Dakota Teachers Fund for Retirement – New Format Report has been updated to have a Pay Groups tab to filter which Employees pull into the Enrollment tab.
- South Dakota: South Dakota Monthly Retirement Report has been updated to include a new option for Creating a FastPay file. See the help file for more details.
- Payroll>Maintenance
- The 2025 W4 has been added to the system for use on the Employee Personal Changes – Federal W4 screen found on the Taxes tab in the Employee File.
- The Deduction File now allows for an upper and lower limit to be entered on the Rate Table tab.
- In the Employee File, the Import New Employees option has been updated to include more fields.
