Training Tidbit: 403b Administrator Name Changing from ING to Voya

As you may know, the company name for the third-party 403b plan administrator ING changed to Voya as of September 1, 2014. The administrator name will be updated to Voya for the 403b Reporting option within the School Accounting System in a future release. There are no program changes required for the layout of the generated report files, and so continue using the current option with the ING administrator name and be aware we will be updating the name in the future.

Important Note: When generating the report the first time in September (when the company name change takes effect), click the Deductions tab and update the name of the vendor under the Vendor column from ING to be Voya for all the applicable deductions. Only the vendor name under the Vendor column has to be changed to Voya; however, if desired, the Vendor Code can also be updated, but then you must let Common Remitter know if you created a new code.
