Training Tidbit: Convert to Rate Table
Are your deductions set up in Payroll in rate tables? If not, utilize the Convert to Rate Table option accessed from within the Deduction File to have the system convert the different rates entered for your employees into a rate table for a particular deduction. Rate tables are beneficial to use for those deductions with standard rates, because if the rates ever change, only the rates in the rate table need to be updated with the new amounts (no need to go to each record in the Employee File and enter the new rates).
