How does the system calculate the amount entered in the Additional Dollars field or the Additional Percent field (in the Wages screen of the Employee File) for a unit employee in Negotiations?
The system adds the additional dollar amount or percentage to the unit rate before multiplying it times the number of hours. For example, if the amount for a step/lane is $5.50 per hour and the additional dollar amount is $0.25, the system will add the two amounts together to be $5.75; then it multiplies that amount by the number of hours.
