I cannot select the Disposed field or enter information into the Disposal Date or Disposal Type ID fields in the Asset File Maintenance option. Why are the fields disabled and how can I dispose the asset?
The Disposed, Disposal Date, and Disposal Type ID fields in the Asset File Maintenance option are for reference only and information cannot be entered for assets that have not been disposed. The fields are automatically updated when the Process Asset Disposal option is completed to dispose assets. For step-by-step instructions on disposing an asset, refer to the Processing Asset Disposal topic in the Help File.
