Training Tidbit: Iowa eFile & Pay System for SIT
SUI is aware that the Iowa Department of Revenue’s new eFile & Pay system is now available to file your Iowa withholding tax (SIT).
When completing the screens to file within the eFile & Pay system, you will first be required to enter the withholding amounts (no cents allowed here) and then you will enter the actual payment amounts (cents can be entered here). The Iowa Department of Revenue has different options and steps for whether to round the withholding amounts up or down depending on whether you will be paying electronically or mailing a check (http://www.state.ia.us/tax/business/EFilePayPayOptions.html).
