Training Tidbit: Is there a way to see how a fund balance is affected by the fiscal year activity?
Yes, print an annual Balance Sheet at any time to see how a fund balance is affected by the fiscal year activity. To do this, select the Reports menu from the General Ledger screen, Other Reports, and then Balance Sheet; on the report printing options screen, select Annual as the Report Selection Description, and then specify the desired processing month (i.e. 06/2024) and fund(s).
Note: When printing the balance sheet for funds set up as activity funds (those with the Activity field selected in the Fund File), always select Annual in order to see the correct totals for each fund balance account.
