FAQ: The adjustment amount in box 7 of the 941 is larger than normal; what is wrong?
I noticed the amount in Box 7 of the 941 for the current quarter’s adjustment is larger than normal (the adjustment is for $1504.10); what is wrong?
A larger adjustment amount will be reflected in Box 7 if the 941 was previously generated before the new year’s format was available. To resolve, regenerate the 941 for the quarter by selecting the Options menu from within the Quarterly 941 option and then Regenerate.
