I have an employee whose SIT amount has increased greatly since their last payroll check. I have not made any changes to their information; why did the SIT amounts change?

This is because they have reached the FIT limit as listed on the table for the State Income Tax. After reaching the limit, the employee no longer receives the federal income tax deduction for SIT, which will increase the amounts withheld for SIT.
