If I have a vendor who is entered in the Vendor File twice with the same information but different IDs, can I make just one vendor and keep all the history information for both?
Yes, you can combine the vendor IDs by completing the Combine IDs option. To access the Combine IDs option, select the Options menu from within the Vendor File and then Combine IDs. Enter the IDs for the two vendors to combine (be sure to enter the ID to retain in the With field) and then click the Execute button. Refer to the Combining IDs topic in the Help File for detailed instructions.
