Training Tidbit: Important – System Specifications for .NET Framework
Important – Utilize the System Specifications option at this time to check your workstation for the version of Microsoft® .NET Framework that is installed. The System Specifications option, which is located under the Help menu on the main screen of the School Accounting System, displays the hardware and software information of your workstation.
The School Accounting System requires Microsoft® .NET Framework 4.0 Full/Extended (or higher) to be installed on your workstation. To check to see what version(s) of .NET Framework you currently have installed on your workstation, select the Help menu from the main School Accounting System screen and then System Specifications. The version(s) of .NET Framework currently installed will appear in the list on the bottom half of the screen. If there is not a version 4.0 Full or higher listed on the screen, consult your Technology Coordinator regarding the installation of the newer version. It is important to note that 4.0 Client is not sufficient. For those customers using Windows 7 or higher, the most current version of .NET Framework is available from the Microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653. The .NET Framework versions are not available as part of the normal Windows Update process.
