Training Tidbit: Do you know what a USB flash drive is?

A USB flash drive is a compact, inexpensive, and easy-to-use device for portable storage.  A USB flash drive is similar in use to your computer hard drive, but can slip into your pocket, be kept on a chain and worn around your neck, or be placed on a keychain; then when needed, the flash drive is simply just plugged into the USB port on your computer for use.

A flash drive, or also commonly referred to as a jump drive or a thumb drive, can be used for storing backups made within the School Accounting System (applicable for those with the School Accounting System installed locally).  The backups on the flash drive can then easily be taken and stored off site (i.e. taken home with you at the end of the day).  Depending on the size of the flash drive, a number of backups can be stored on one flash drive.
