When is the Fiscal Year End field on the Wages screen of the Employee File used when making payroll entries?
The Fiscal Year End field indicates which fiscal year’s contracts to include when calculating one of the following payroll types: Expense Payroll, Pay Off Contracts, Purchase Order, or Reversing GAAP. The Fiscal Year End field is also entered on the Batch Options screen for Pay Period Entries or Employee Absence batches; this field is utilized by the system to determine the correct year’s wages to be used for the entries within the batch.
