Training Tidbit: Did you know direct deposit stubs emailed to employees can be password protected?

To set up the system to have the emailed direct deposit stubs for employees sent as a password-protected .PDF file attachment (with the password using the format set in the Password Format field on the Payroll screen in the Email Manager), complete the following steps:

  • From the main School Accounting System screen, select the Maintenance menu and then Email Manager.
  • At the Email Manager screen, click the Payroll tab.
  • Select the Password Protect Direct Deposit Stubs field in the Direct Deposit/W2/1095 Options section.  A checkmark will appear in the box if the field is selected.  (Note:  This field is only enabled if the Email Direct Deposit Stubs field is selected.)
  • Verify the Password Format field is completed with the desired format.
  • Click the Save button to save your changes.
