Training Tidbit: Is there a way to exclude inactive account numbers on General Ledger reports?
To exclude inactive account numbers on General Ledger reports, complete one of the following, depending on the options available for the specific report:
1) Specify True for the Active Chart of Account Number parameter (as shown below)
2) Add a filter records formula for Active=’True’ (only applicable with flexible financial reports or custom reports)
Note: Keep in mind, if inactive account numbers are excluded from printing on a report, the report may not reflect the actual totals if those inactive account numbers had a balance in the fiscal year in which the report was generated.
