FAQ: Is there a way to allow a user to view only certain accounts on Web Link reports?

Yes, create an account group containing the account numbers for the user.  To define an account group, select the Maintenance menu in General Ledger and then Account Groups.  Once the account group has been added, tie the account group to the user within the User Security option (accessed by clicking the User Controls button on the main School Accounting System screen).  On the User Security screen, click the Account Groups tab (in the lower left corner of the screen), enter the ID of the account group containing the account numbers for the user in the Account Group ID field, and select the Web Link Reports field.  If the Web Link Reports field is selected for an account group, the reports assigned to the user that contain a parameter or report selection for account groups will then be limited to the designated accounts when generated from within Web Link.

Note:  The User Security option is only available to users defined as a Supervisor or Web Link Administrator.  For more information, refer to the Adding an Account Group topic and the Adding a User topic in the Help File.
