FAQ: Why do more employees now show a Date of Address Change on the Nebraska Monthly Retirement Report than in the past?

In a recent update, a new field called Address Changed Date was added to the Name & Address screen in the Employee File in Payroll, and the new Address Changed Date field is now used on the Nebraska Monthly Retirement Report (instead of using a custom field defined to track the date of address changes).  Since the new Address Change Date field on the Name & Address screen in the Employee File is automatically updated with the date when one of the address information fields for an employee changes, most likely a number of your employees will have a date in this field and that date will now print on the Nebraska Monthly Retirement Report.  Important:  The Retirement Office only pays attention to the date if it is within the month being reported.

Note:  The Address Changed Date field on the Name & Address screen in the Employee is disabled (cannot be changed) and is updated with the date when one of the address information fields for the employee is changed after the data is initially entered and saved.  The address information includes the following fields:  Address 1, Address 2, City, State/Province, Zip Code, Country, Attention, Primary Phone Number, Secondary Phone Number, Other Phone Number, Phone Type, Internet Address, and Contact Person.
