Training Tidbit: Is there a way to inactivate a group of account numbers all at once?
Yes, use the Inactivate Chart of Account Numbers option to quickly inactivate a group of account numbers. The Inactivate Chart of Account Numbers option is accessed from the General Ledger screen, Maintenance menu, Chart of Accounts, Options menu.
When completing the Inactivate Chart of Account Numbers option, the account numbers to inactivate can be selected based on a fiscal year end date to which entries were last posted (by entering the desired date in the Fiscal Year End of Latest Transaction Posted to General Ledger field).
