The Nebraska SPEDFRS option in Payroll is used to create a file containing the salary and benefit totals that can be uploaded for the Supplementary Report of Staff Salaries within the Nebraska Special Education Financial Reporting System.
The first year using the Nebraska SPEDFRS option, the assignment records from the Nebraska Staff Reporting option for employees with an assignment code starting with a 7, I, or S can be transferred into the Nebraska SPEDFRS option, or else the assignment information can be imported from a file for the applicable employees rather than manually keying the information if the Nebraska Staff Reporting option is not utilized within the School Accounting System.
