Training Tidbit: Remember to balance calendar year totals before the last December Payroll

As the end of the calendar year approaches, we recommend you complete the steps for balancing the calendar year totals for W2s prior to processing your last payroll in December.  By balancing now, any necessary adjustments can be made and included in the last December payroll, if applicable.

To balance, complete the Balancing Information option, located under the Options menu on the Payroll screen, for Check Dates of January 1 through December 31.  Then after updating the last December payroll, the Balancing Information option will be completed again as a step on the Payroll End of Calendar Year Checklist.
