When I access W2s, I get a prompt the school ID number has the wrong format for Iowa SIT; why?

For Iowa organizations only, when you access the Employee W2s option, if you do not have the correct format of your state withholding permit number entered in the School ID Number field in the Taxes File in Payroll, you will get a prompt (as shown above) telling you to correct that now.

To correct the issue, click OK on the prompt, select the Maintenance menu and then Taxes, bring up the tax ID for Iowa SIT, enter the correct 12-digit number for your state withholding permit number assigned by the state in the School ID Number field, and save.

Tip:  In most cases, the number that was entered in the School ID Number field was a 9-digit number (i.e. 12-0424378), and so you would just need to add the last 3 digits to the end (i.e. 12-0424378-001) and save.
