FAQ: How do I include staff previously employed by the district but have been separated for at least 60 consecutive days on the Kansas New Hire Report?

To include staff that were previously employed by the district but have been separated for at least 60 consecutive days on the Kansas New Hire Report, in addition to newly hired employees, enter 60 in the Payment Gap Days for Additional Employees to Include field, as shown below.

Then when selecting which employees to include on the New Hire Report on the Select Data tab, the employees with a hire/rehire date in the specified range (as stipulated in the From and To fields for Hire Date, which in the example above shows August 1 through August 31, 2025) display, in addition to the employees who do not have a hire/rehire date within the specified range and were paid for the first time within 60 days.
