FAQ: Is there a way to copy the information from the previous year to this year for the Employee Offer of Coverage fields on the ACA 1095s screen in the Employee File?
Yes, use the Adjust ACA Employee Offer of Coverage option to copy the data entered into the Employee Offer of Coverage fields on the ACA 1095s screen in the Employee File from last year to this year. The Adjust ACA Employee Offer of Coverage option is accessed under the Options menu from within the Employee File. When completing an adjustment, select the Copy Previous Year field, as shown below.
The information can be copied for the 14: Offer of Coverage field, 15: Employee Required Contribution field, or 16: Section 4980H Safe Harbor and Other Relief field by selecting the appropriate field in the Line to Adjust field. When copying the information for the 14: Offer of Coverage field, the zip codes entered in the 17: Zip Code field on the ACA 1095s screen in the Employee File will also be copied to the new year if applicable.
