FAQ: Where did the sort groups go that used to appear on the Employment tab in the Employee File?

In the 16.11.03.01 version of the School Accounting System, the sort groups were merged with the referenced custom fields and now appear on the Custom Fields tab in the Employee File. By merging these fields, the old sort group functionality is expanded. All reports, checks, employee selection grids, and so on, that could previously be sorted or filtered by a sort group now include all referenced custom fields as an option.

To edit the name of a referenced custom field, add additional referenced values, or change the order the referenced custom fields display in the Employee File, access the Custom Fields option from the Maintenance menu in Payroll (or Human Resources, if applicable).
