FAQ: Only the employee share for a deduction is showing on the W2s; how do I also show the board’s share?

To show both the employee and employer share of a deduction on the W2s, completing the following:

  • From the Payroll screen, select the Maintenance menu and then Deductions.
  • Bring up the deduction for which to include the board’s share on the W2s.
  • In the W2 Information section of the screen, select Both in the Share to Print field.
  • Click the Save button.
  • Regenerate the W2s by selecting the Options menu on the Employee W2s screen, and then Regenerate.
