Training Tidbit: Reminder of Deadlines for 1099s, W2s, and ACA 1095/1094 Forms
As you are working on the end of the calendar year activities, keep the following deadlines in mind for distributing and submitting 1099s, W2s, and ACA 1095/1094 forms:
1099 Due Dates:
Deliver 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC forms to recipients by January 31
Submit 1099-NEC forms electronically to IRS by January 31
Submit 1099-MISC forms electronically to IRS by March 31
W2 Due Dates:
Deliver W2s to employees by January 31
Submit W2s electronically to SSA by January 31
ACA 1095/1094 Due Dates:
Deliver 1095s to employees by March 1
Submit 1095/1094 forms electronically to IRS by March 31
